Advances in Energy Nexus Engineering is committed to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the scholarly record. To uphold transparency and ethical publishing practices, the journal strictly follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines in managing corrections and retractions.
Corrections are issued when a minor error is identified in a published article that does not affect the overall results, conclusions, or scientific integrity of the work. These errors may include typographical mistakes, author name inaccuracies, or mislabeling of figures or tables.
A retraction is issued when a published article contains major errors or ethical violations that invalidate its findings or compromise the reliability of the scholarly record.
Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript before publication for valid reasons (e.g., major errors or ethical concerns). However, withdrawal requests after peer review must include a written explanation, and approval is at the discretion of the editorial board. Repeated or unethical withdrawal requests may result in submission restrictions for future publications.
The editorial team of Advances in Energy Nexus Engineering holds the right to issue corrections, retractions, or editorial notes to maintain the journal’s academic integrity. These actions are intended to correct the record, not to punish authors, and will always be conducted with fairness, professionalism, and transparency in accordance with COPE’s Core Practices.
