Advances in Energy Nexus Engineering (AENE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge, engineering innovation, and technological development in energy systems and related interdisciplinary fields. AENE provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, engineers, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate high-quality original research, review articles, short communications, and case studies addressing current and emerging challenges in energy. The journal covers a broad range of topics, including energy conversion, renewable and sustainable energy, energy efficiency and management, thermal and fluid systems, energy storage, hydrogen and fuel cells, smart and integrated energy systems, energy modelling and optimization, sustainable transportation, energy–environment interactions, and emerging energy technologies. AENE particularly welcomes research that integrates engineering principles, technological innovation, digitalization, environmental sustainability, and system-level approaches to support the development of efficient, reliable, resilient, and low-carbon energy systems for a sustainable future.
